WHAT WE DO

what we do

Special needs support

Since 2010 we have shipped items yearly to Ghana helping individuals, families and organisations. We collect items such as clothes, linen, shoes, books, stationery, towels, bicycles, school bags, toys, household items, medical & orthopaedic supplies and disability equipment which with the help of volunteers are sorted, boxed and shipped to Ghana. All of this is done with the generous help of our supporters for which we are tremendously grateful.

Throughout the year, the trustees in UK hold various events and activities such as 60’s Night, Musical Concert, Multicultural Lunch, Quiz Night, Car boot and Cake sales to raise funds for the charity.

Unlocking potential

The children and young adults we help, come from different cultural backgrounds and range in different age groups, with different types of disabilities.

Our aim is to provide support that will help individuals to unlock their potential by learning life skills, which will give them opportunities in the future. We encourage the children to focus on their abilities and finding independence. To alleviate hardship, we also support the family as a whole with goods & services, paying for items and any other needs/services they could not otherwise afford so as to make life bearable.
